Content SWOT
A content SWOT applies the classic strategy framework to the content program itself. Internal factors (what you do well, where you're weak) and external factors (gaps competitors miss, platform or algorithm shifts) reveal the strategic terrain before a program is built or reset. It is most valuable as a group exercise, different team members surface blind spots no single person holds.
Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, scoped to content.

When to use this
- At the beginning of a strategy cycle, to make the competitive and organizational context explicit before tactics are chosen.
- After an audit surfaces quality and performance data, to interpret patterns in strategic terms.
- When making the case for investment, to ground the argument in an honest read of the geography.
